ARLENE AND BLAIR - DALGETY BAY
BRINGING A VISION TO LIFE
BEFORE
This bespoke garden transformation in Dalgety Bay was a true test of design, planning, and execution.
Faced with a sloped and exposed site, limited front access (only through a garage), and rear access requiring navigating a narrow 100-meter path, the project presented challenges that many contractors refused to tackle.
At ALEV, we saw opportunity where others saw obstacles.
Innovative Solutions for Unique Challenges
To combat elevation changes, we designed a striking deck in place of a traditional patio, ensuring seamless transitions across the garden. An existing hard-standing area was repurposed into a patio, while carefully planned levels tied every element together. The bespoke staircase became both a practical feature and a stunning design centerpiece.

Understanding the client’s vision for their retirement years, we created a garden that balances aesthetics with functionality, ensuring ease of access and long-term enjoyment.
From Render to Reality
The project began with a detailed 3D render, allowing the client to visualise their transformed outdoor space before the first dig. This step was crucial in refining the design and ensuring every detail aligned with their needs. The result? A breathtaking outdoor haven that blends design sophistication with practicality.
NEIL + LAUREN - DUNFERMLINE
FROM BLANK CANVAS TO FAMILY OASIS

I was invited to turn a blank garden with an awkward slope into an entertaining space for the whole family to enjoy.
Initially removing 15t of soil we set on creating the design that we had agreed on, a large patio to be accessed directly from the patio doors, a useable level area of artificial grass and a stunning raised composite deck complete with in built seating, bespoke BBQ hut and contemporary Venetian screening with inbuilt lighting.
Seeing the family out enjoying the space together before we even completed the project was the highlight for me… until I stood back with the clients and admired the end results!
The job was scheduled to take around a month and we completed it within timescale and within budget.
I think the garden speaks for itself and looks as good now, over 2 years on from completion that it did the day we finished.

Danny spent considerable time discussing the design throughout the build and we gave him free reign to change it throughout which meant we could add things in during the build.
The finish is second to none, even if things took a bit longer or needed more attention to make it look good it was done. Just a sign to show the attention to detail is top notch.
